Are you going to miss all these beautiful places? The beaches of Roses are waiting for you!
You will find on the following map 6 of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Brava.
Our TOP 1 is Cala Murtra - You must walk 20 minutes downhill if you park your car at the Cala Murtra indication that you will find on the Montjoi road. There is also the option of walking the "Camino de Ronda" (highly recommended!) 1 hour from Almadrava beach (green icon on the map) to Cala Murtra beach.
On this beach you will not find any service. Therefore, it is necessary to bring sunscreen, drink and food.
Cala Murtra and Cala Rostella are very similar, Cala Rostella a little bigger.
Our TOP 2 would be Cala Pelosa due to its proximity compared to Cala Jóncols if you go by car. But you cannot miss an open-air concert on Sunday afternoons at the Chiringuito of Cala Jóncols. It will make you fall in love even more with this place.
Both have beach bars to have lunch or dinner, especially do not forget to book in high season.
The beach TOP 1 "not wild" in Roses' is Canyelles Petites. It offers all the necessary services to spend the whole day or even stay overnight in one of our touristic accommodations. It has a Suma supermarket, free parking (or paid for € 5 a day) and different restaurants with various economic proposals.
Almadrava beach is very similar to Canyelles Petites. A little bigger, more parking but with a camping. This means that there are more people than on the Canyelles beach.
Do you know dog beaches exist? The Rubina beach in Empuriabrava is considered one of the best dog beaches in Spain. Attention! because it is not the whole beach. It is divided into different parts: chiringuitos area, Windsurf area, Kitesurf area and dog area (the final part of the closest beach to Roses).
You can also find a new dog beach in Sant Martí d'Empúries, it is the Rec del Molí beach.
If you want to enjoy beautiful beaches in the Cap de Creus area, visit Cala Jugadora and Cala Culip.
